BIO
Buenas! I'm Nanu Berks, I enjoy creating art about decentralization and new systems of value. This motivation comes from living through the 2001 experience of the corralito in Argentina and fascination with urban art as a means of mass communication. My favorite techniques are upcycling, graffiti, and fringe-tech, which have led me to spectacular communities. I feel grateful to be a part of the cryptoart movement and early smart contract designing for NFTs since 2014.
I believe in cultivating presence and inner calm with daily small acts. My works explore these intersections between what it means to live between physical and digital worlds, consciousness, and technology. I love bieng able to merge my background in communication, healing arts, and future technologies, along with play and explorations of evolving communities.
Creating immersive experiences through wearables, interactive urban art, and large-scale installations is a lot of fun and keeps me always growing and learning. I have had the luck and pleasure of exhibiting my art in museums, galleries, and technology conferences around the world.
Originally from San Juan, now based in Córdoba, Argentina.
“I like bridges and middle points in a world of extremes. I enjoy connecting and sharing complex concepts in simple ways through audiovisual expression, courses, playshops, and talks.” — Nanu Berks
